In five to ten years, EPS to renew distribution system completely

The Electric Power Industry of Serbia (EPS) is planning to completely modernize and make mid-voltage distribution network automatic in the next five to 10 years so that losses in electricity distribution would decrease, it was communicated on Thursday at the Serbian Chamber of Commerce (SCC).

EPS is planning a number of strategic projects of modernization of electrical distribution facilities and network, including “smart grid” – entire automatizing of mid-voltage distribution network which has already started on site, it was outlined at the conference in risk management in revitalization of electrical-distribution facilities.
