Sweden to provide EUR 8 m for transformation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of RS

The Kingdom of Sweden will continue implementation of the Program "Development of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of RS”, totaling EUR 4,2 m from 2016 to 2018, through the Swedish Agency for International Cooperation (SIDA) with the partner Swedish National Police Board, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Serbia communicated.

The objective of the Program is to contribute to transformation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Serbia into civil police service in line with the best European standards, which are in compliance with values, structure and working methods so that, among other things, internal safety would be provided ad requirements for accession to EU would be fulfilled.
