Picasso's picture, "La Gommeuse", sold at almost USD 67,5 m

The picture of Pablo Picasso, "La Gommeuse" was sold at almost USD 67,5 m at the auction of Sotheby's in New York when pieces of 122 famous artists, including Van Gogh, were offered.

Fall auction in New York started with sale of 77 pieces of art owned by Alfred Taubman,a collector. The auction company announced that total estimated amount of his collection is USD 500 m.

Picasso’s act, painted in 1901, whose value before the auction was estimated at USD 60 m belongs to his so-called blue period.
