Our portal gets award - eKapija wins the Media partner of hotel industry award for 2015

(Milivoje Radovanovic and Jelena Djelic) eKapija business portal won a respectable award of Media partner for hotel industries for 2015. The award was assigned to our portal at the ceremonial delivery of awards for the best ones in hotel industry of Serbia - "Ambassadors of good service", which was held today during XII Forum of hoteliers in Belgrade.

The jury specifically outlined in the explanation that “the award is delivered to the most influential economic internet portal in the region for active daily media logistics to promotion and development of hotel and tourist industry of Serbia 2015- at the highest professional level, with which this internet portal significantly contributed to promotion of hotel and tourist industry of Serbia".

Executive editor, Jelena Djelic, received the award on behalf of eKapija.

- We are glad that representatives of hotel industry recognized eKapija business portal as a relevant partner in their business. Our editorial staff has been trying for ten years now to keep up with all investments in tourist industry, to be a service among other things and to support tourism development in Serbia as well as in the region. Recognizing the importance of your voice to be heard even further, early this year we published topic-focused newsletter on tourism in Serbia which gathered representatives of hoteliers, tourist agencies, catering, wine houses as well as expert and vocational associations. Last month, we went a step further when we dealt with, also through Topic-focused newsleter, the importance of organization of business trips and congress tourism development– Jelena Djelic outlined upon this significant award.

"Turisticki Svet" magazine organized the "Ambassadors of good service“ award in cooperation with the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Singidunum University.

Jury for the annual awards in hotel industry of Serbia for 2015 comprised: head of the Agency for hotel consulting HT Rade Samcevic, professor at Hotelier College , prof. dr. Ljiljana Kosar, secretary of the Association for tourism, Serbian Chamber of Commerce, Dragana Sabic and Ljiljana Rebronja, main editor of "Turisticki Svet" – head of XII forum of hoteliers.

Through reporting, eKapija is trying to outline positive stories of Serbian economy, hotel industries among other things, outlining tourist potentials, investments, as well as announcement of new project in this industry.

During 2015, eKapija also released two topic-focused newsletter in this area: "Tourism in Serbia - suitcase full of challenges " and "Business trips – good organization saves time and money ".
