Construction of Belgrade-Budapest railroad implies 46% of Serbian work and goods - Negotiations with Chinese on Corridor 11 in progress

Umbrella agreement for construction of Belgrade-Budapest railroad signed by Serbia and China implies the stake of 46% for our work and goods and 54% for Chinese goods was planned, prime minister of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, has said today and added that price has not been defined yet.

- We should align the price. I believe that in tomorrow’s talks with the prime minister we will be able to near the opinion about the entire project – Vucic said and added that terms of loan with Chinese Eksim bank for funding of Belgrade-Budapest road construction project are clear, with an annual rate of 2%.

He said that Serbia, when it comes to plan documentation for construction of railroad of 10 to 11 months prior to Hungary and that it will start the work earlier.

Vucic said the delegation of Serbia in China talked with representatives of the biggest Chinese companies and that he is proud of Serbia for treatment it had in China where the Summit of China and CEE countries was held.

Vucic said that today they have talked with reps of the company for construction of roads and bridges, CRBC, on construction of Corridor 11.

Vucic said that talks with HBIS which is interested in Zelezara Smederevo were particularly interesting and deputy governor of Hebei province in the north of China.
