Highway section at Vranje 26,3 km long opens - Construction of Corridor 10 to end by March 2017

The construction of this part of the Corridor 10, funded with the World Bank loan totaling EUR 73,8 m, was split into three smaller sections: Vladicin Han - Prevalac 10,1 km long, Prevalac - Suvi Dol 9,0 km long and Suvi Dol - Donji Neradovac 7,2 km long.The project was carried out in line with the FIDIC rules.

At the Vladicin Han - Donji Neradovac section, highway 26,3 km long with 24 bridges, six overpasses and Vranje “knot” with its lanes 1,35 km was built. Apart from that, new alternative road parallel with the highway, 19,5 km long with ten bridges was built.

The main design was developed by the Institute for roads and technical control of the project was carried out by the Traffic Institute CIP.

The Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said that the entire Corridor 10 will be finished by March 2017 latest.
