Dismissals for the employees at Confezioni Andrea Serbia in Jagodina cancelled

Approximately 175 employees of the "Confezioni Andrea Serbia", who received on Friday warnings before dismissal, will be returned to work, it was agreed today at the meeting of the plant manager, Dejan Siskovski and representative of the "Nezavisnost" Trade Union with the president of the City Assembly of Jagodina, Dragan Markovic-Palma.

- We reached an agreement that all the employees are returned to work, to sit to negotiate and to solve together all economic and social issues of interest for all the employees and their position - the main trustee of the "Confezioni Andrea Serbia" Trade Union on behalf of the "Nezavisnost" Trade Union, Miomirka Bojic said.



The employees received a notice of warning before dismissal for participating in the warning strike November 17.

Plant management, headed by Darko Kikic, announced the people were dismissed "in line with the Labor Law and that they caused damage to the company totaling EUR 400.000 EUR."
