Trayal from Krusevac makes gear for Army of Egypt - USD 1.1 million agreement signed
Representatives of the Krusevac corporation Trayal and the Army of Egypt have signed an USD 1.1 million agreement on the supply of protective masks for this year, and they have also inked a protocol on regular supply of equipment to the Army of Egypt over the next ten years, the daily Novosti reports.
Implementation of the agreement starts March 2016, and Trayal has already begun production in its Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Factory.
- The next agreement will be signed July 2016, and just like all the future ones, it will be worth USD 1.1 million. Protective masks are a symbol of our industry and it is important that we have signed agreement with one of the top ten armies in the world that is also among the largest on the planet in terms of the number of soldiers - Trayal General Manager Milos Nenezic underlines.
The uniform of the Army of Egypt is currently wore by as many as 500,000 regular soldiers, and the Army has a million reservists and additional 31 million trained people who can be drafted at any moment (all Egyptians aged between 18 and 49).
This is a very important job for Trayal which employs 1,164 workers. The main precondition is to renew cooperation with the Army of Serbia, which is deemed a significant reference for foreign partners.
