Austria's Hypo Alpe Adria Bank, which was sold to the U.S. investment fund Advent this year, is going to move its headquarters from Klagenfurt to Vienna, the media in Austria have reported.
This relocation may result in downsizing in Klagenfurt, where the Bank's service center will be situated from now on.

The main office of Hypo Bank in Vienna will be activated in early 2016, while the current building in Klagenfurt is going to be sold. The first quarter of 2016 will see the reorganization of Hypo Alpe Adria Bank, which will start in its administrative headquarters in Austria and then expand to its offices in the Balkans.

As it was stressed, the Bank's network of 230 offices is going to be appraised, while a new development plan is already in preparation.
The Hypo Alpe Adria Group has offices in Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Serbia, and Montenegro. Aside from the investment fund Advent, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is also a minority owner of the Hypo Alpe Adria Group.
