Chinese manufacturer of facade materials interested in investing in Jagodina

(Jagodina) A 34-member business delegation of China led by Zhu Lianqi, the economic and trade counsellor at the Embassy of China in Belgrade, and the first secretary of the Embassy visited Jagodina on Friday (18 December 2015) with the aim of establishing a business cooperation.
The delegation was greeted by Dragan Markovic-Palma, the president of the City Assembly and a member of the Serbian parliament, and Jagodina Mayor Ratko Stevanovic in front of the modern packaging plant of Italy's Vibac in the local industrial zone.

- Three factories of Italian companies are in operation here, one more Italian and one Russian factory are already under construction, while an investor from Germany is going to commence the construction of another one very soon. We would also like investors from China to have their factory here - said Markovic.

He explained to Chinese businessmen that land and infrastructure were ready and free for investors, adding that building permits can be issued in one day. In addition, the state has provided subsidies.

Zhu Lianqi pointed out on that occasion that the Chinese delegation had come to Jagodina to improve the friendship with the representatives of local self-government and deepen the economic cooperation with Serbia.
