Privatization of NIS according to new law?

Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia, Božidar Đelić, announced yesterday (October 10, 2007) that the public would be informed on the model of privatization of Petroleum Industry of Serbia. Đelić said that the there was concensus in the Government of Serbia that privatization of NIS be carried out, as he said, "according to specific law that must be considered by the Parliament".

According to his words, the Commission for restructuring and privatization of public companies will be the first to state its position about model of privatization of NIS, while the Government of Serbia will be the next.
