The paper factory Paloma is going to be recapitalized by the Polish investment fund Abris Capital. This decision was made Tuesday, 5 January 2016, by the Assembly of Paloma in which 71-percent stake is held by the Slovenian Sovereign Holding (SDH).
The Poles offered EUR 15 million in fresh capital for Paloma, that is, EUR 3.3 per share. They were better than Slovakia's Eco-Invest which offered to pay EUR 18 million for Paloma. However, the validity of that offer was not determined.

Tadej Gosak, the chairman of the Paloma Managing Board, said that the capital injection from Abris Capital would be used for the renovation of primary paper production facility, which required an investment of 15-20 million euro. Paloma plans to invest EUR 69 million over the next five years.
