UNIQA is starting investment program totaling half billion euros

Insurance company UNIQA is starting multi-year investment program totaling EUR 500 m so that it would get ready for the future in IT and customer service.

- It will be the greatest investment and innovation program in company history- Andreas Brandsteter, Executive Manager said.

In the first year (2016) compared to 2015, the result will "significantly decrease", UNIQA announced on Monday, January 18. Low interest rates will affect it apart from income for investments.

For a year which ended, UNIQA is on the road to reach the best annual result in the history and the data will be available in the second week of March.

Until September 2015, profit from regular business totaled EUR 301,9 m and the annual forecast is, with the assumption of stabile conditions, EUR 425-450 m. Despite huge investment program which was approved on Monday from the Supervisory Board, UNIQA is firmly sticking to the policy of increase of annual dividend per share.
