Serbia gets a loan of EUR 8 m for projects in agriculture
Serbia will receive a loan of eight million euros for the projects in agriculture, state secretary of the German Federal Ministry for economic cooperation, Hans Joahim Fuhtel, said on Wednesday, January 20, 2016, Jugmedia portal reports.
At the reception at the mayor of Leskovac, Goran Cvetanovic, he said it is a loan throygh the European Fund for Southeast Serbia where Germany is participating in funding.
- We have innovation for these loans which is very rare in the world and that is the fact they are connected with insurance in a sense if a harvest is bad one year, there is huge loss of cattle fund and the loss is compensated through insurance – Fuhtel said.
It is a pilot project which will be implemented in the north of Serbia, in Vojvodina and the guest expressed belief the loan will live in the second stage in entire Serbia.
With 15 his associates and GIZ and KfW representatives, Fuhtel stayed at Leskovac within his visit to Serbia.
