The second-ranked is the biggestprivate meat producer in Europe, German Tonnies which in early 2015 announced its arrivaland company setup in Serbia as well as large investments in pig farms,cattle food production departments and later in meat processing plant in linewith Tonnies’ standards for domestic, regional and world markets.
The Government of Serbiasigned a Memorandum of understanding with German company on April 27, 2015.
The third-ranked is Industrija mesa "Matijević" since in February 2015 signed with German BANSS agreement ondelivery and installation line for pigs slaugther with the capacity of 300 pieces per hour.
Italian Ferrero acquired through its company from Belgrade, Agriser property of Aleksa Šantić" for EUR 7,95 m, which secured this investment the fourth place.
A great attention of eKapija's readers was attracted by the fifth-ranked London investment fund Mid Europa Partners, owner of Imlek, Bambi and Knjaz Milos, which in Aprilannounced investment of EUR 100 m in the next three to five years.
The sixth-ranked is the news that MK Group and IM Matijevic are planning to join theircapital, knowledge and experience and set up of consortium as interested buyersin for PKB AD Padinska Skela,but Petar Matijevic neglected he wants to buy PKB.
The seventh-ranked isSwiss Kelvins Potato which announced opening of a modernplant for processing potato in Titel.
The eight ranked is Novi-Sad-based Neoplanta" which announces investments of EUR 30m in the construction of the most modrn system for waste waters treatment aswell as a new farm , with 150.000 cattle per year whose constructionshould start in 2016 and which should be finished in late 2017. The ninth-ranked is Delta Holding" with its announced investment ofEUR 33 m in Delta Agrar, i.e.primary production and its companies FloridaBel, Danubius and Yuhor.
Top 10 comprises also Aleksandrija Fruska gora which in October announcedthe start of operations for its first gluten-free food in Serbia in its newproduction department in Curug.
Our list comprises also the announcement of the Chinese interested ininvesting EUR 50-60 m in Kragujevac-based slaughter, then construction of threeproduction halls Cokolend in Paracin, where 70 people more should be hired as well asRussian Kraun Group which signed inZrenjanin contract on purchase of land in industrial zone and planning to pour EUR 8 m in food industry.
German fish producer PTC Germany is planning to relocate production of fishfrom China and Vietnam in Serbia ,so it signed in October with the Government of Serbia and the City of Smederevoin October Memorandum of understanding. Once again, Delta listed with its plan to pour EUR 50 m indevelopment of fruit and vegetabels growing in the south of Serbia andplants plantations at app. 1.000 ha. News on Fruvita, one of leading domestic producers in segment ofnon-carbonated drinks, presented departments for processing of juices,with KHS production line which provides the highest product quality without additives.
