Hutchinson starts production in Ruma - French company to invest EUR 7.3 million and hire 200 people

Ruma City Assembly President Sladjan Mancic has announced that Huthinson is going to start trial production this week, while full capacity is expected to be reached in mid-February.
- A production test will be run this week. In addition to current 55 workers, another 15 people have gone to a training in Poland. The return of the first group from the factory in Poland should be followed by the start of employment of remaining workers in Serbia, and a training for them will be organize in the Ruma factory. It should be reiterated that the business plan of the French giant says that 200 people will get a job at the factory in Ruma – said Mancic.
The French company is going to invest about EUR 7.3 million in its manufacturing plant in Ruma, where they plan to produce rubber tubing for automotive cooling units for world-renowned car makers such as Mercedes, Fiat, Suzuki, Renault...
