This year, electricity price increase has not been planned, head of EPS, Aleksandar Obradovic says and explains that reason is electricity price fall in the region and Europe.

He says that therefore another trend analysis will be done and in cooperation with IMF and the World Bank they will see what to do with electricity as well as successful EPS reorganization.

He said EPS, as for now, has been operating very successfully, that last year, in line with the approved plan it should have been a loss-making company but that it will operate positively with over two billion dinars.

Obradovic also outlined that electricity payment collection improved and that there have been rules when it comes to payments.

As he said, in households category, payment collection level increased to 96% but major problem is businesses and local self-governance.
