Bulgarian "Intertrust" put new factory of sandwich panels into operation in Leskovac
Yesterday (October 31, 2007), in Leskovac, newly built factory for production of so-called sandwich-thermal insulation panels was officially put into operation. These panels are used in building as insulation systems for roofs, walls, facade, floors, on apartment, business and other buildings.
More than 10m EUR have been invested in the construction of that industrial facility whose projected annual capacity is about 2.5m square meters of sandwich panels (or

The factory will supply products from this program to business partners in Serbia, and part of production is intended for export. This is the first factory of the kind in Serbia. It has been built according to strict standards that are in effect in the countries of European Union.
The investor is Bulgarian holding company "Intertrust" from Sofia that bought former Leskovac-based factory of laminated and profiled sheet metal "Lemind FPL", later renamed into "Interlemind", on the auction in Belgrade three years ago.
The owned of "Intertrust" holding, Valentin Zaharijev, said to the present at today's celebration that the obligations of new majority owner of former factory "Lemind FPL" were, among the rest, investments in the development program in amount of 1m EUR. However, these obligations have been exceeded by about 10 times.
- Company "Intertrust" is interested in procurement of some other factory capacities in field of metal-processing industry in Serbia, as well as facilities for lead and zinc ore mining - said Zaharijev, pointing out that the company will participate in the forthcoming auctions organized by the Privatization Agency.
