New management appointed by Ringier Axel Springer Media

Ringier Axel Springer Media has obtained a new leadership team comprised of managers from Poland, Hungary, Slovakia and Serbia who will manage the development and implementation of strategy of this media company under the leadership of CEO Mark Dekan, Ringier announced today in a release.

Aside from Dekan, new members of the management are Alek Kutela, the CEO of Grupa Onet.pl in Poland, responsible for data and video, and Jozsef Bayer, the CEO of Ringier Hungary, responsible for print publishing.

The new team also includes Jovan Protic, Group Director Digital Publishing and COO Grupa Onet - Ringier Poland, responsible for digital content business, and Milan Dubec, the CEO of Ringier Slovakia and Azet, responsible for transactional and classifieds business.

Appointment of the new leadership team is part of the concept that CEO Mark Dekan developed with the aim of further development of the company.

- We want to extend our position as the leading digital publishing company in Central and Eastern Europe. By introducing the Leadership Team, we are strengthening the role of our four markets in the development and implementation of Group strategy. I am looking forward to working together with the team members, who are all experts in their respective fields - said Dekan.

The headquarters of Ringier Axel Springer Media - from now on called "International Office" - has also been strengthened through new appointments in recent weeks. New to the team are Elena Jasvoin as Group Director Finance and M&A, Monika Remiszewska as Group Director People and Development, and Ralph Werner as new Group Director Ad Sales Development, the release reads.
