International Tourism Fair opened in Belgrade - Record number of exhibitors from 55 countries

The 38th International Tourism Fair, held under the slogan "Where Else Have You Not Been?," was opened today at the Belgrade Fair and is expected to attract a record number of participants and exhibitors this year.
The opening ceremony was attended by Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic, Deputy Prime Minister and Tourism Minister Rasim Ljajic, Slovenian Minister of Economic Development and Technology Zdravko Pocivalsek, and Belgrade Mayor Sinisa Mali.

The opening ceremony of this year's tourism fair started with a film about the Danube River which will be the focus of the promotion of Serbia's offer.
Slovenia is the partner country of this year's event which will be open until February 21st and is expected to bring together 1,153 exhibitors from 55 participant countries.

The number of visitors is also expected to hit a record high as last year's event attracted about 70,000 people, while minimum 75,000 should visit the expo this year.

Serbia is going to present the Danube, rivers and lakes, city breaks, mountains, spa resorts, gastronomic offer...

In addition to the Tourism Fair, the period between February 18 and 21 will also see the 7th wine fair "Beowine", 12th International Exhibition of Hotel and Restaurant Equipment HORECA and the 12th souvenir fair "Visit Serbia" held on about 15,000 square meters of exhibition space in halls 1, 1a, 2, 3 and 4 of the Belgrade Fairgrounds.
