- The Serbian furniture does not lag behind the furniture made by the biggest and the most famous companies in Europe in terms of quality, and our furniture has been attracting a strong interest from foreign buyers over the past few years - Radovanovic told the press at the traditional 6th Home Furniture Show that this company organizes in its showroom in Jagodina.
He underlined that the European furniture market was "highly developed, but we are keeping up because we have almost the same technology as companies in European countries."
- The furniture made by Jela is available in nearly 200 showrooms across Serbia, 66 in Croatia, about 40 in Macedonia, between 60 and 70 in Bosnia-Herzegovina and the Republic of Srpska, and in one big market chain in Slovenia. We also export furniture to Germany, Greece, Austria, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Romania - said Radovanovic.
Jela is a family firm founded in 1991. It has continued the tradition of furniture production at the carpentry shop Radovanovic from 1936. The company currently employs about 200 workers and is equipped with the world's highest technology from Germany. Two lines at this furniture company are fully automated.
