Miskovic to buy Maxi again?

Miroslav Miskovic, the owner of Delta Holding, has the ambition to become the owner of Delta Maxi again, which is now owned by Belgian Delhaize, Politika finds out. However, Delhaize Serbia denies sale of this retail chain.

Miskovic, according to the sources of Politika, is allegedly negotiating a return to retail and takeover of “Maxi" and "Tempo" at a much lower price than he sold them. As a reminder, in March 2011, Miskovic sold former Delta Maxi to Belgian Delhaize at the price of EUR 932.5 m, and he wants to buy it for EUR 200 to 300 m.

Delhaize Serbia, however, strongly denies it. They claim that the assumptions are "completely untrue".
