Russians interested in cooperation with Tigar from Pirot
Serbian Minister of Labor, Employment, Veteran and Social Policy Aleksandar Vulin said yesterday in Pirot that the preservation of traditional relations with the Russian Federation and their improvement was one of the priorities of the Serbian government.
While touring the factory Tigar Obuca (Tigar Footwear) in company with Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Serbia Alexander Chepurin and a representative of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of that country, Vulin underlined that Russia was of huge importance to Serbia.
Chepurin noted that he had talked with Tigar Obuca Managing Director Nebojsa Djenadic about the possibilities to boost cooperation, which can take several directions, primarily in the production of car parts and everyday consumer goods.
As he pointed out, Russian companies are trying to recover certain parts of their production that used to take place in Turkey. Chepurin stressed that delegations of several Russian automotive companies would come to Serbia to talk about mutually beneficial cooperation in that field.
