Czech Tatra interested in Krusevac-based 14.oktobar

Vice President of the Serbian Progressive Party, Bratislav Gasic, head of the electoral list of this party in Krusevac, announced rapid recovery of devastated companies in this city. He reminded that many of Krusevac-based companies after the privatization from the economic map of Serbia, and more than 20,000 jobs with them.

Before privatization, Krusevac had app. 46,000 employees, more than half of them in business.

- At this moment, troubleshooting for 14. Oktobar is in progress for which Czech "Tatra is interested in and which expressed wish to buy that industry in the letter of intentions. Of course, Tatra does not want to but 14. oktobar at a price set by the Trustees, and their assessment is more than four billion dinars, plus debt, which makes nearly 20 billion! If it is known that Zelezara in Smederevo was sold for four billion dinars, it is clear how Trustees overestimated 14. oktobar. Therefore, it is not realistic that we will be able to sell this industry for estimated amount – Gasic said.
