"Serbia, your new investment destination" - Government and SCC present 10 advantages of Serbia to investors

Supporting material, "Serbia, your next investment destination", prepared by the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, was available during the conference to representatives of financial and political world elite.
In the first item, the focus was on geo-strategic position of Serbia, numerous free trade agreements with other countries, which allow duty-free access to the market of 1.1 billion people.
In the next item, data on the size of the territory, population, currency, credit rating, GDP, and other information about the country that might interest investors were presented in the next item.
Serbia's ranking at "Doing Business" list of the World Bank, characteristics of the business environment, average wage, tax, very motivated workforce were presented next.
The fourth item indicates a number of initiatives with which the government stimulates investors, which is an advantage of Serbia compared to some countries in the region.
The material outlines also advantage of investment in some of the free zones in the country, and there are currently 12 free zones where 262 companies operate, of which in 2014, total value of exchnage in the zone reached five billion euros. Two free zones are at the list which comprises 34 best free zone in the world.
In particular, in the sixth item, the focus is on highly skilled workforce and in the seventh on the existence of 104 clusters which employ over 40,000 people and comprise 500 companies in 13 different industries.
The eight item presents macroeconomic data to investors, indicating a low rate inflation, stability of the national currency, especially emphasizing the positive forecasts of GDP growth.
In the concluding items, ninth and tenth, successful investment stories in Serbia and contacts of SCC which is oriented as a service of the economy are listed.
