Mecafor is starting production of automotive components in Kikinda as of September - Investment totals EUR 4 m
The objective is to start production immediately. According to the promises, which April 20, after he laid the foundation stone with Kikinda’s mayor Pavle Markov, the Chairman of the Board at Mecafor, Nikolas Grosdidijer gave, new factory operation should be completed by the end of the year.
Production is scheduled to start in early September. In the halls of the world-famous company, metal parts for global automotive industry will be developed and processed. 80 people will be hired at the beginning and over time, as production increases, the plant will increase the number of employees.
Mecafor moved into open industrial zone in Kikinda opened last year. The French bought a lot of 4,800 m2 for RSD 30 m from the city of Kikinda, where they are implementing investment of EUR 4 m.
