Prva Banka sells hotel Lipka in Kolasin for 6.9 mil EUR

The new owner of Kolasin hotel Lipka since mid-May 2016 has been the company Silk Resort & Spa, whose founder and representative is a Grenada citizen Mohammed Abdul Chowdhury. Several months ago, he registered that company in Podgorica, and then also the “Kolasin Resort & Spa” company, which will build a Hondo Hotel on the urban parcel of the Bjelasica Ski Center. According to the Central Registry of Business Entities (CRBE), the CEO of that company is Stefan Stojanovic.

Prva Banka has sold Lipka for 6.9 mil EUR. The purchase agreement shows that the bank has secured itself by granting a 4.9 mil EUR loan to the buyer, while the remaining 1.5 mil EUR will be paid by Silk Resort & Spa immediately. The loan, whose collateral is hotel Lipka, was granted for the period of ten years, at the annual interest rate of 4%.

Lipka, which was pronounced the best hotel in continental Montenegro a few years ago, is still recorded as being under construction in the land registry and still doesn't have a building permit. The object, according to data from the Secretariat of Urban Planning of Kolasin, doesn't have an exploitation permit either.

Mohammed Abdul Chowdhury has become the owner of a street in Kolasin through buying the hotel.
