Užice-based "Jedinstvo" signed contracts worth 30m EUR

- Company “Jedinstvo" from Užice, which deals with planning and installation of hydro and thermal insulations, has already signed contracts for works worth 30m EUR in 2008 - said Manager Mića Mićić.

Last year, this company carried out works worth 40m EUR, twice as much as planned, which is the highest value of works in the history of the company sixty years long. Construction of the water factory in Herceg Novi and sewerage network in Kotor, as well as extension of works on the water factory in Leskovac, Belgrade’s water supply system Makis and the facility of 135,000 square meters in Russia are only some of the works started in 2007.

Also, primary gas pipeline network worth 15.000.000 EUR is being built in Užice, Požega, Kosjerić, Arilje and Čajetina, and these works are financed from the National Investment Plan. “Jedinstvo" has also been entrusted 14m EUR worth of modernization of remote heating in Užice, Čačak, Subotica and Pančevo, financed by European Agency for Reconstruction.

That company invested about 2.5m EUR last year in modernization of equipment and hired 80 workers, with occasional engagement of about 200 season workers.
