First women's business incubator to be founded in Belgrade

Union of citizens "Hera" and Borough of Voždovac will found the women's business incubator - the Info service of that borough announced today (January 11, 2008).

Representatives of the city Secretariat for Economy and Council for equality of sexes will talk tomorrow, at noon, in the premises of borough of Voždovac with the students who are taking the course about establishment of women's business incubator.

About 30 students have been attending the entrepreneurship course, modern management course, law course and finance course since December in order to prepare themselves for the self-employment process and in order to be able to find their place on the labour market and the market of goods and services. The courses end at the end fo January.

The final cycle of lectures will be held by the successful entrepreneurs, members of Association of business women from Belgrade, who will introduce students to the experience of running a private business.

This project anticipates establishment of the first women's business incubator, similar to the models present in the countries of European Union.
