The construction of a music and ballet school in Novi Sad begins – Investment worth RSD 1.7 billion

At the parcel bordered by Cara Lazara Blvd, Narodnog Fronta St, Balzakova St. and Sekspirova St, there were around ten trees.
Although certain residents of nearby buildings are dissatisfied with the fact that the trees are being cut and that children no longer have their playground, they have accepted it quickly, because, as they say, what is being built is also meant for children.
The agreement on the construction of the Music and Ballet School, worth RSD 274 million, was signed in mid-April, and the money for the construction has been provided from the city budget. The projected value of the construction of a 15,000 m2 structure with a concert hall is RSD 1.7 billion.
The several phases of the construction will be financed by the City of Novi Sad with around RSD 900 million and by the Ministry of Science with around RSD 800 million.
The long since announced construction of the school will last around two years and it probably won't be completed before mid-2018.
