The Serbian Economic Senate becomes a member of the European Economic Senate
At the joint session of the presidency and the Executive Board of the Serbian Economic Senate, which followed immediately after the signing, it was unanimously decided to accept the protocol signed in Vienna. It was decided that Ivan Gros should be delegated to the presidency of the European Economic Senate, and that Radovan Mijatovic should be delegated to its Executive Board.
The main task of the Serbian Economic Senate is to gather business people, primarily representatives of small and medium enterprises, owners of family businesses which strive through their development programs to connect to the international market, i.e. the export and cooperation with Europe. Among its goals are improving the economic and investment climate in Serbia, encouraging and deepening the cooperation between educational institutions and the economy.
Members of the Senate are committed to opening the economy of Serbia to the international market to the greatest extent possible, especially towards Austria and Germany, or the European Union, by creating business opportunities for Serbian enterprises in these markets.
