General Motors has announced that it will recall nearly 290,000 older models of Chevrolet Impala Sedans due to potential airbag inflation problems.
The decision to recall the vehicles pertains to 2009 and 2010 models.
General Motors claims that the front seat framework might damage the passenger sensor wires, which might cause the airbag to inflate.
It has not been said so far when the problem will be fixed.
