Draexlmaier investing between EUR 12 and 18 million in Zrenjanin – Employment of up to 1,200 planned

The German company Draexlmaier is planning to invest between EUR 12 and 18 million and employ between 800 and 1,200 people in Zrenjanin in the next two years, the Provincial Government reported.

On the occasion of his visit to the factory, Vice President of the Provincial Government, Ivan Djokovic, said that the company employed 1,500 in Vojvodina.

– The Provincial Government and the Secretariat for Economy and Tourism recognize their potential, because they have the capacity to hire new workforce and so assist in solving the problem of unemployment – Djokovic said and expressed his readiness to set aside assets from the next year’s budget to assist them, in accordance with the programs and capabilities of the Government and the Secretariat.

The company Draexlmaier, with headquarters in Zrenjanin and a logistics office in Kragujevac, produces cable harnesses for the automotive industry and electric and electronic equipment for motor vehicles.
