Trustee in bankruptcy of AHA Mura Prvi Maj Pirot called the sale of the enterprise in the capacity of a legal entity at the starting price of RSD 283.95 million on Friday, August 12. The public bidding is scheduled for September 19 at the Commercial Court of Nis, and the interested bidders need to make a deposit of RSD 126.2 million.

The most important property of the enterprise, which has been in bankruptcy since June last year, are office buildings.

At the previous public bidding, the starting price for AHA Mura Prvi Maj was RSD 315.5 million.

At the time, the enterprise was owned by the English-Slovenian AHA Group, which bought three production halls of Pirot's Prvi Maj for EUR 2.1 million and received state subsidies in the amount of EUR 6.6 million in 2012.

Problems arose when the Slovenian company AHA Mura went into bankruptcy due to large tax debts. Two production halls of the Pirot factory employed 1,330 workers, and, after the company went into bankruptcy, a private textile company rented one hall and employed around 300 workers.
