Russia's ICL Services start operating in Serbia – Employment of local experts and expansion to local market announced

The Russian IT company ICL Services officially opened its Belgrade office on Wednesday, August 24. The company, headquartered in Kazan, has operated in the international market since 2006 and currently has over 1,000 employees, who successfully cooperate with over 50 big clients from 26 states and provide IT support service 24/7.

ICL Services Belgrade office currently employs 15 people, and, as Director Igor Katykov said, the plan is to employ an additional 150 highly qualified IT experts in the next two and a half years.

ICL Services deals in professional IT outsourcing and specializes in IT support for large companies, such as its biggest client, Fujitsu.

Among their core activities are Service Desk, field support, integration and monitoring their clients' IT infrastructure, design and implementation of software solutions and IT consulting. These are also some of the services that the Belgrade employees will be providing.

The company's plan is to increase the annual sales to EUR 5 million in the next five years and they also plan to cooperate with clients in the local market, in addition to working for foreign clients.


In ICL Services, they say that, in the spring of 2015, they performed analyses as to where an office outside of Russia could be opened and that they chose Serbia due to, as they say, the free trade regime between Russia and Serbia, but also because of IT experts, who are, at the same time, familiar with several European languages.
