Apple preparing Snapchat rival

Along with Facebook and Instagram, Snapchat is a highly popular app for sharing photos and clips, and Apple is preparing its own rival to the app.

– Apple has started developing an application for sharing clips, which enables shooting videos, applying filters and drawing – the reports state.

Cupertino-based company doesn't intend to develop its own social network, but an app which will enable sharing content on existing social networks like Facebook and Twitter.

The app will only be available to iPhone and iPad users, although users might wish to communicate with their Android-using friends.

Although Apple will present iOS 10 along with iPhone 7 in September, the new app won't be launched until next year.
