Komercijalna Banka from Belgrade has published consolidated financial reports for the first six months, which encompass, in addition to operations of the parent company, offices in Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina and the investment funds management company Kombank Invest.

As in the case of the parent company's financial reports, Komercijalna Banka reported a consolidated loss of RSD 2.7 billion, compared to a profit of RSD 703.4 million in the corresponding period of 2015.

The loss is primarily a consequence of high net provisioning, which led to expenses of RSD 6.4 billion, compared to three billion in the corresponding period of 2015.

When it comes to its core business, Komercijalna Banka recorded a drop in net interest income by 2.4% to RSD 7.3 billion, while the net fee and commission income rose by 1.6% to RSD 2.5 billion, Wisebroker reports.

The bank's assets in the period amounted to RSD 433.4 billion, which marks a growth of 4.5% YTD. The parent company participates with 93.3% in the group's overall consolidation.
