Saudis looking to buy Ponikve Airport – Czech interested in raising airplane painting facility

There's great interest in the Uzice Ponikve Airport. Czech investors, for example, are interested in raising an airplane painting facility, and an investment fund from Saudi Arabia is ready to buy the airport.

Their representatives have submitted a study in which they claim that they intend to invest money in the completion of the runway in the next five to ten years, as well as in the construction of a cargo center, a hotel, a hospital, an educational center and other features.

– This is indeed interesting, but we are not in the position to estimate the seriousness of the offer, which is why we've forwarded it to the prime minister's cabinet and we are now waiting for an answer – explains the mayor of Uzice, Tihomir Petkovic.
