German FoundCenter Investment awards EUR 5 million each to authors of 13 best business ideas

German investors, gathered in FoundCenter Investment, have awarded EUR 5 million each to authors of the 13 best business ideas, applicable to the international market and with a potential to change life in the future.

First prize (EUR 750,000) was won by the medical advice application developed by the Serbian company Vismedic.

Jovan Paunovic, the author of the idea for the app, thanked the investors for their support, but also his team with which he was developing the project of a website matching M.D. data with patients' wishes, and allowing for scheduling and performing consultations with doctors.

Second prize (EUR 400,000) was awarded to the Ukranian-Spanish company BNesis for their project of programming integration.

A Serbian concept called Friend Recap placed third. The application gathers posts from all social networks for eight closest friends. They were awarded EUR 180,000.

Three awards for inventiveness were also awarded. Projects Brawas (for making use of brain waves) and Ci Gel (fire protection) received EUR 650,000, whereas Formon (3D printers) was awarded EUR 130,000.

Along with these awards, FoundCenter Investment will invest nearly EUR 2 million in projects whose development they will continue to follow.

The founder of the FoundCenter Investment fund, Dejan Jocic, says that the decision was hard, which is why as many as 13 companies have received the award.

– Our desire was for the winner to come from this region but for the idea to be applicable everywhere and that the company already has a good team which we will continue to follow – Jocic concludes.

One of the investors, Stephan Rind, says that the awards have been given to companies which are already operating, but also to those which are just starting and whose products have great potential.
