Representatives of the Ministry reminded that the the state-owned land had been leased for 20 years in line with the agreement, with the possibility of extension of up to five years for the needs of the construction of a wind farm with 72 MW of installed power.

The construction of wind farms at Krnovo began last May. The commissioning of the wind farm will contribute to reaching the national goal of the share of RES of 33% in the final consumption.

The state has obliged by agreement to guarantee a fixed purchase price of electrical energy produced at the wind farm in the first 12 years of operation and that it won't go under EUR 95.99 per MWh.
