As they’ve announced, the participants will learn about the development of the legislation, their obligations and the good practice in the country and abroad regarding waste management.
– There will be talk about the impact of the opening of the negotiation chapter 27, dealing with environmental protection, on the obligations regarding waste management, the legislation development trends and examples of the best local and foreign practice, which will be discussed by numerous experts from the country and abroad.
The organizers expect the conference to be attended by company managers and owners, persons in charge of environmental protection, persons responsible for waste management, technologists, quality, development and maintenance managers, supply and logistics managers and everybody involved with waste management or interested in this area.
– The participants will be able to ask questions to speakers through email before the conference or at the conference itself, and will promptly receive answers which will enable them to prepare to implement the legislation, fulfill their obligations and receive suggestions for waste management in line with the best practice. The possibility of making contacts with numerous colleagues will provide a quality exchange of experiences to the participants, as well as an opportunity to create new business connections – says the announcement by Forum Media.
The speakers at the conference include high representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental protection, among whom are Gordana Petkovic, head of the Department for International Cooperation in Environmental Protection, and Radmila Serovic, head of the Waste Management Department.
The examples of good waste management practice in Austria will be presented by Thomas Werner of Asamer Becker Recycling GmbH. As well, the examples of good practice in Serbia will be presented by representatives of the leading waste management operators from the country. The conference will include a round table, where the trends in the development of regulations and practice will be discussed, says the announcement by Forum Media.
