The adaptation of the former Zadar factory of Maraska into the first Hyatt Hotel in Croatia with the accompanying residential and commercial features will be completed in spring 2019. Along with the hotel, the Dogus Group will build 115 luxury residences and a commercial section with exclusive stores and hospitability features. The value of the investment is EUR 100 million, and, with the investment in Maraska, the total investments of the Dogus Group in Croatia will amount to EUR 350 million.
The second large project of the company is the acquisition of Sibenik’s NCP, where the Turkish company is completing its investment in the city’s Mandalina by raising the boat repair facility to the world class level.
The owner of the NCP Group, Goran Prgin, first sold the Sibenik tourist project to the Dogus Group several years ago, along with the right to raise a hotel and the concession for the marina in the Sibenik Mandalina, and is now negotiating the sale of the boat repair facility.
With this project, the Turkish company has decided to complete the investments in Sibenik’s Mandalina, where their first resort is located, in which EUR 26 million has been invested so far.
