World Bank supports Government of Serbia – Ellen Goldstein impressed by results

The Government of Serbia held the second thematic session on Saturday, October 15, in Nis, with representatives of the World Bank, who said that they were impressed with the results.
Country Director for Southeast Europe Ellen Goldstein stated that she was impressed with the results of the activities of the Government of Serbia and added that the World Bank would provide any help needed to the government, as stated in the press release of the Government of Serbia.
She added that she was honored to be able to cooperate with Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic's cabinet.
Vucic said at the session that he wished for Serbia to become a modern, economically successful country of satisfied people.
The government has achieved good results so far, but it's necessary to constantly work on strategic goals and finding best ways to achieve them, the prime minister said and expressed his satisfaction that the session had been held in Nis.
He also thanked Ellen Goldstein, Country Manager for Serbia Tony Verheijen and Head of the EU Delegation to Serbia Michael Davenport for the help they provided to the Government of Serbia.
The guests at the session included the World Bank consultants William Isaacs and Ray Shostak, who shared their experiences in areas of strategic planning and creating efficient teams.
