The City of Belgrade has placed a public call for awarding concessions for urban equipment.
The object of the concession is financing the procurement and handing over to the city of Belgrade certain urban equipment elements which cannot be used commercially and financing the procurement, installation, maintenance and commercial exploitation of certain urban equipment elements which can be used commercially on the territories of 10 city municipalities encompassed by the General Urban Plan of Belgrade for a period of 25 years.
The items include, among others, benches, waste containers, public toilets and public transport stops.
The city municipalities encompassed by the General Urban Plan to which the concession pertains are: Vozdovac, Vracar, Zemun, Zvezdara, New Belgrade, Palilula, Rakovica, Savski Venac, Stari Grad and Cukarica.
The concession proposal so far does not include the territories of suburban municipalities outside the General Urban Plan: Barajevo, Grocka, Lazarevac, Mladenovac, Obrenovac, Sopot and Surcin.
The concession fee will be defined through the public call in the amount not lower than EUR 10 million.
The application deadline is December 12, 2016.
