The preparation of a conceptual design, along with a feasibility study, for the construction of the bridge on the Danube near Ada Huja in Belgrade has been put in charge of the consortium made up of Belgrade's DB Inzenjering, Maribor's Ponting and Gradis, as well as Novi Sad's MHM Projekt and AB & Co Geosystems, Politika learns.

As said by City Manager Goran Vesic yesterday, the value of the tender was estimated at RSD 112,500,000, and the consortium offered RSD 73,569,990. The job is to be completed in 380 calendar days.

The bridge is to be built in four segments – Pancevo Road to revetment, revetment to Ada Huja, Ada Huja to Visnjicki Blvd, and Visnjicki Blvd to Slanci Road – and the new bridge has been envisioned to be the middle part of a ring around the capital of Serbia.

According to estimates, the bridge on Ada Huja, along with access routes, should cost around EUR 180 million.
