City Transportation Company "Beograd" got ISO 9001:2000 certificate

Company "Tuv Sud Group" from Munich has granted the quality management system
(QMS) certificate yesterday (March 13, 2008), in accordance with the requests of ISO 9001:2000, to the CEO
of City Transportation Company (GSP) "Beograd", Slaven Tica.
The CEO of the office of "Tuv Sud Group", Boško Gavović, the company that is one of the world’s largest companies
for management system and technical supervision, said that GSP had proved, as
large public-owned system, that it could operate by the highest standards.
- Citizens of Belgrade are the ones who will feel that they are one step
closer to world’s and European practice - Gavović added.
- Six or seven years ago, GSP had only 375 vehicles, while it currently uses more than 1,000 vehicles and transports about 475m passengers on annual basis - said Tica.
Tica announced that that company would start realization of project ISO 14001:2004 in 2008, for the sake of reduction of harmful influences on environment, along with increased care of health and security of workers and users.
