The opening of direct routes for transport of goods from the Nis Constantine the Great Airport is highly important for the development of air transport in Serbia, stated Damir Defranceski, general manager of Cargo Agent Navigator, the authorized representative of Turkish Cargo in Serbia.

– We are ready to provide an entirely new kind of service to our clients, so far unavailable at the Nis Aiport, and transport all kinds of shipments in line with international regulations – Defranceski stated.

Aside from the services provided to companies from Serbia, Turkish Cargo is planning to draw clients from the neighboring countries in which they don't own direct cargo lines as well – Macedonia, Bulgaria...

– We have contracted regular shipments of pharmaceutical products, tobacco products, car parts, food products... One of our new services includes transport under special conditions – ENVIROTEINER – which guarantees consistent temperature during the entire flight – our interviewee said and added that it pertained to pharmaceutical and food industries above all, where products are required to be kept at a certain temperature (ranging from -20 to +25 degrees Celsius).

Turkish Cargo will fly from the Nis Airport each Monday with A310 airplanes with up to 38 tons of bearing capacity.

– In case of increased demand, we are capable of increasing the capacity to 62 tons, using A330-200 airplanes of the latest generation, in a short amount of time.
