Slovenia`s Paloma, the regional leader in production and sales of toilet paper, had revenues of EUR 66.5 million in the three quarters of 2016, which is 5% more than in 2015, whereas EBITDA reached around EUR 1.9 million.

The production of paper increased by 3% and 48,200 tons were sold, 7% more than in 2015, regional media report.

– The improvement of processes in all areas, investments in renewing and modernizing the equipment, organizational advancements, all this has produced tangible results. The company is doing well, and will be in the black at the end of the year – said the chairman of Paloma`s management, Tadej Gosak.

The company from Sladki Vrh has also acquired permission to receive a capital increase of EUR 18 million from the Slovakian investment fund Eco-Invest. The Slovaks would thereby become owners of more than a half of Paloma`s stock, and they have announced investments of EUR 70 million and the employment of an additional 200 workers.
