Tender for construction of pedestrian overpass at Beton Hala placed

The Belgrade Land Development Public Agency has placed a tender for the construction of the pedestrian overpass from the great stairway to the Sava wharf near Beton Hala.

The bid submission deadline is December 30. The project envisions the construction installing the lightning, elevators, development of green areas, as well as technical services.

The overpass consists of three parts – a bridge connecting Kalemegdan to the parking lot at Beton Hala, a spiraling ramp for descending to the Sava promenade and a sculpture containing an elevator.

This year, CIP donated the project of the future pedestrian overpass, following the amendment of the earlier project by British sculptor Richard Deacon and Mrdjan Bajic.
