Protocol signed on cooperation between Central Banat's administrative region and Romanian region of Karaš-Severin
- Representatives of Central Banat's administrative region and Romanian region of Karaš-Severin have signed the protocol that should contribute to better cooperation between the two regions - said the Chief of the region, Zoran Vučić, yesterday (March 24, 2008)
in Zrenjanin.
- With the exchange of information and creation of conditions for cooperation in field of economy and tourism, education and culture, the Protocol, which was signed on March 21 in Rešice, is also a "signpost" for establishment of cooperation between the region with the headquarters in Pančevo and Kikinda abd Timisz region in Timisoara, which would enable binding along the whole Serbian-Romanian part of Banat - said Vučić.
He pointed to cooperation between regional chambers of commerce and place special emphasis on the need for revival of the project for cleaning of the Begej river, which would make it possible for that river in Banat to become navigable between Timisoara and Zrenjanin once again.
